It’s the end of the beginning for “The Gravity Guild”, at least in my opinion. I was first prompted to listen to them as i had come across a Metal/Rock compilation tape entitled “It escaped from Brooklyn!” (released under Factory Fast Records). I listened to the full album and it had two stand out tracks one of which was “It’s not the end of the world.” The track has a slight grunge style to it reminding me of the late 90′s, but also had an upbeat intro reminding me of something similar to a more modern sound similar to Three Days Grace. I have listened to the track probably 8 times in the period of about an hour, and I can’t help but notice more and more influences; Creed, Three Days Grace, Pearl Jam, Godsmack, Rush, Soundgarden and maybe even a slight Coldplay similarity.
